Profitability Improvement: Labour Optimization
The problem

A successful labor reduction program was expanded from a single mine to regional operations, with the objective of optimizing support functions and reducing labor costs for a global mining company while maintaining operational performance.

Our approach

Our team analyzed work activities and capacity across five mines and four plants with a global mining company to optimize support functions. We developed workload analyses, benchmarked against best practices, and created implementation roadmaps in collaboration with client functional leads to achieve an optimized future state.
