- Profitability Improvement: Maintenance & Reliability
Iron Ore Open Pit Mine struggling with availability of Drills and Shovels. Low availability was leading to missed production for several years. Initial diagnostics concluded that main causes were due to poor coordination of people and parts for each work order.
Our team developed a prescriptive "Ideal Shift" and 14 desired Active Management behaviors. We installed meeting & governance tools to organize the work orders, equipment and people for each shift. We conducted approximately 100 supervisor 1-1 coaching sessions for tools & behaviors.
