- Profitability Improvement: Sourcing & Procurement
In 2025, one of the world's largest nuclear power plants sought to reduce its maintenance work backlog by streamlining supply chain lead times. Previous work to reduce over-specification was successful and broader process redesign was required.
Our team conducted analyses of contract coverage, price histories, contracting process, and compliance to contracted price. We led the team to re-prioritize contracts to pursue, enabled them with better tools to negotiate lower prices or other value aspects, and ensured compliance to contracted prices through buyer and supplier management scorecards.
