- Profitability Improvement: Sourcing & Procurement
In 2024, one of the world's largest nuclear power plants sought to reduce its maintenance backlog by improving supply chain lead times. We aimed to improve efficiency across its cross-functional procurement process, with operations, maintenance, engineering, quality, and other key departments.
Our team conducted a deep dive into the procurement process to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. We redesigned the process to enhance information flow, ensure proper specifications, reduce costs and lead times, and strengthen supporting management practices.
