Provincial, publicly-funded dental plans were merging into a unified coverage service. Service would provide coverage to children and low-income adults, with the intention of no gaps or overlaps. Merger required significant systems and data integration which needed to be managed effectively.
Our team identified key clinical and privacy risks, as well as legislative requirements for handling & use of health data. We developed approach and implementation schedule to minimize data integration risks and timeline. We advised on key factors that would enable success of the organization post-merger.
